We are requiring someone with their full drivers licence to join our team.  Preferrably but not essential, can drive a manual vehicle.

Kids Zone is a before and after school care programme operating in Te Awamutu, servicing 11 different schools.  We are open 7am to 8.30am in the mornings and 2.45pm to 6pm in the afternoons.... Monday to Friday in School term weeks.  During the holidays we operate our holiday programmes from 7am to 6pm Monday to Friday.  All excluding public holidays.

The successful applicant will be required to drop off to schools in the mornings.... and pick up children from schools in the afternoon, delivering them back to the centre where you will help prepare and deliver afternoon tea, help with homework, interact and entertain the children, and general supervision of the children.  During the holidays we also travel to offsite activities.  Company vehicles are used.

The successful  applicant would mainly be asked to work in the afternoons.  Only the occassional mornings would be required, if available.

This is a casual position with no minimum hours... however it is likely to be between 2 to 15 hours per term weeks.... and up to 20 hours in the holidays.

This job requires someone that enjoys working with children.  It can be very challenging at times... but the joy, pride, fun, and the sense your making a difference, makes it an awesome job.

It would suit someone with energy, imagination, enthusiasm.
