As the Store Manager, you will take ownership and build a high performing team that exceeds minimum levels of performance, while developing a competitive edge that fully embrace Target Furniture’s vision and values. Previous furniture experience is advantageous but not essential, however a willingness to embrace the Target Furniture way is.

This role is a stepping stone to further opportunities within our organisation so we are looking for an enthusiastic and energetic individual that will treat the business like they own it.

About you| O pumanawa 

To be successful in this role, you must have previous Retail Management best practice experience and proven experience leading and coaching teams. In addition, you will

  • Be known for your sound honesty, integrity and open communication
  • Be results driven and passionate about making a difference with your customers
  • Be known for your outstanding customer focus, relationship building skills and ability to deliver results
  • Have a strong work ethic, committed to adding value to your role and aren't afraid to roll up your sleeves to get the job done
  • Have a proven competitive edge with exceptional organisational skills
  • Have previous experience and knowledge of retail management software, along with Microsoft Office.

We started from humble beginnings with our first store opening in 1992 in Mt Eden, Auckland and since then we have grown to seven branches nationwide.
