Simply Indian 2014 limited is looking for two experienced chefs, one for Indian Curry and Tandoori Chef and one Sweet Chef. Both roles are permanent full time.
Requirements for Curry and Tandoori chef
*Preparation and presentation of selected food items in accordance with menu requirements.
*Responsible to cook varieties of Indian dishes like north Indian food, tandoori cuisine, South Indian food.
*Determining the portion sizes and quality of meals Planning and preparing menus and estimating food and labor cost.
*Ordering supplies on regular basis Required to check freshness of food & ingredients.
*Discuss with the Restaurant Manager of improvements required for the growth of the business.
*To preserve the food and freeze them as required Maintain a good working relationship with the staff.
* Following the health and safety regulations Meeting hygiene requirements of the city council.
*Delegating and supervising Kitchen staff Train and mentor junior staff.
The successful applicant for the position must have.
*Minimum 3 years of work experience as Indian curry and tandoori chef.
*Be experienced in taking full control of the kitchen.
Requirements for Sweet Chef
*Prepare different types of sweets and inspect sweets before they arrive at front counter for sale.
*Decorate and prepare sweets during festivals.
*Prepare different types of snacks.
*Minimum have 3 years experience as a Sweet Chef in Indian sweet shop.
