Assistant Manager : (Urgently Required for busy retail store and service station) Caltex Gisborne is looking for a new Assistant Manager on urgent basis. As an Assistant Manager your duties will include but not limited to: -Assisting the Manager with ordering stock/ Ensuring an adequate supply of stock available for day to day running of the business and making sure all promotional stock is available. - Helping Manager with roasters and covering the shifts (If needed) - Inventory control - Dealing with the suppliers in absence of Manager. - Assisting Manager in recruiting the new employee. - Assisting Manager with Training the new team member. -Helping Management with food hygiene and controls. - Product mixing with the Manager. - Helping Manager with setting prices and service standards. - Ensuring all customers queries and complaints are handled efficiently and in timely manner. To be successful in this role, candidate must have: - NZ Business Management qualification either or - Similar relevant work experience - Excellent customer service skills - Ambitious, energetic attitude - Clear communication skills - Desire to drive sales - Possess natural leadership abilities.
