Adventure Club Coordinator
Position Objectives Assist and manage all Adventure Club operations at Fergs Wellington, providing a high and safe standard of service to all clients.
Position Mission To assist the development and improvement of Fergs as a quality adventure experience providing, a clean, friendly, and safe environment for guest and a safe, dynamic, and enjoyable environment for staff.
Staff Reporting to this Position Adventure Club Instructors
Reporting Responsibility This position immediately reports to the Operation Manager
Primary Duties Train and supervise Adventure Club Instructors including actively recruiting and hiring instructors. Schedule training and staff development to assist in all programs-specific responsibilities. Run classes directly and effectively; delegate tasks to supporting instructors and assess programs and proactively implement improvements. Develop multifaceted recreational youth programs for Adventure Club to include but no limited to kayaking, rock climbing & bouldering, sea kayaking, stand-up paddleboarding, inline skating Develop a sea kayak program for Adventure club with focus on water safety & sea kayak fundamentals and prepares youth for The Duke of Edinburgh International Award Develop a Duke of Edinburgh International Award program that will enable Fergs Kayaks to become an Approved Activity Provider for the Adventurous Journey and Physical Recreation portion for rock climbing, kayaking, and paddleboarding. Develop a youth stand-up paddleboard program that focuses on stand-up paddle boarding fundamentals and water safety Monitor numbers for recreational growth/decline management to grow the program and adjust for the needs of the gym and coordinate with managing director to promote all programs Manage all youth programs accounting for membership setup and monthly billing; be accountable for all records and safety documentation pertaining to the operations of youth programs at the Wellington location Assist Auckland staff with implementing youth programs if required. Liaison with the Senior Rock instructor & Head Sea Kayak Guide in the development of Adventure Club programs Assist Operations Manager with developing Adventure Club outdoor climbing program ensuring that the program meets NZ Adventure Activity regulations and Adventure Activity Audit criteria. Secondary Duties Assist with day-to-day operations of Fergs Wellington if required. And any other duties required by the Employer.

$25.00 - $30.00 per hour
