 Funeral Home Assistant

We are looking for a Funeral Home Assistant responsible for assisting the Funeral Director in planning funerals.

Responsibilities may include:

  • Meet with family to make funeral arrangements
  • Preparation of Service Sheet, Slide Shows etc
  • Control Sound system
  • General housekeeping duties
  • General assistance and family support during funeral services
  • Transfer, preparation, and presentation of deceased persons
  • Trimming of caskets and associated tasks

The successful candidate will have:

  • Full, clean, Class 1 driver's license
  • Exceptional customer service
  • Excellent personal presentation with pride in yourself and the brand you represent
  • Proficient in Microsoft office
  • Some physical fitness as heavy lifting is involved from time to time
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to multi-task
  • The ability to work as part of a close-knit team while adhering to all workplace health and safety requirements

Remuneration: Good Rate/ Uniform and Phone allowances. Training will be provided. This is not a regular 9-5 job, candidate may be required to work extra and odd hours from time to time depending on the needs of the business.
