Join us as a Nature Guide on the ultimate voyage of discovery - an exploration of five of New Zealand's southernmost and seldom visited fiords; Chalky and Preservation Inlets as well as the stunning Doubtful, Dusky and Breaksea Sounds!
We are on the search for a nature nerd! Someone who is interested in everything from flora and fauna to Fiordland geography, geology and history. You will be a captive communicator who is passionate about sharing your knowledge with all audiences. As the nature guide you will be the go to person for all passengers who have questions about their surroundings.
This is full time, fixed term position for the summer season where you will be working on a typical 15 days on, 13 days off roster providing you with an unique opportunity to work and play hard in this beautiful part of Southern New Zealand. You'll be based on board the vessel for your days on; with your own accommodation and all meals provided. We are looking for someone who can appreciate the beauty, history and cultural significance that Fiordland has to offer, as you will be sharing it with just a select few people that ever get a chance to visit this breath taking part of New Zealand. As one of only six crew on-board the vessel, you will be someone who enjoys getting stuck in showing our guests top kiwi hospitality.

As part of your role you will have the opportunity to gain a NZ Certificate in Domestic Maritime Crewing - a NZQA approved qualification.
