Creative Project Coordinator is the lifeline of our creative team.

Well organized and flexible, ideally with experience in the printing industry, you should have the ability to work with all levels of management (client and internal), vendors, and possess strong project management ability.

The Creative Project Coordinator plays a pivotal role in keeping projects moving internally and managing the client’s expectations, covering the design, printing and marketing areas.

You will engage with the client and/or the Branch Manager to gather information and understand the overall direction of the campaign and creative request.

Proactively work with the Manager to move the Creative team members toward completion of project deliverables and supports the team in various administrative activities by building project schedules, forecasting hours for projects, coordinating with the different teams to ensure that projects start and finish on time, that all stakeholders are reviewed and approved in a timely manner, and enforce processes during projects.

You will help create efficiency by forecasting, monitoring utilization, identifying opportunities to move projects to lower cost resources, as well as client approvals.

Key Responsibilities:

Advise Managers and owners on matters requiring attention, implement their decisions and ensure that goals are met.

Support and act as the liaison between Manager and design/printing/marketing team.

Plan, develop and review projects for the printing, design, marketing, and all creative services.

Run internal meetings as needed; be responsible for daily communication with designers and printing production members.

Ensure timeliness and quality of client deliverables.

Assist in writing creative briefs and developing presentations.

Ensure on-time, accurate projects execution.

Prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Produce timely and accurate project reports for internal reference.

Attention to detail and proactive in evaluating, recommending, and implementing opportunities to improve internal tools and processes.

Flexible in supporting the design, printing, marketing and creative team on a wide variety of administrative and practical duties.

Coordinating, scheduling of meetings; taking notes and distributing; follow up on actions.

Candidate Requirements:

Tertiary qualification in business/project management.

Experience in printing, design and marketing is an advantage.

Basic understanding of the printing industry.

Basic understanding of printing processes.

Comprehensive knowledge of the Adobe Creative Cloud (Acrobat, InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator).

Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook). Knowledge in graphic design and layout.

Experience in customer facing roles.

Good eye for details, excellent communication skills and time management.

You must have eligibility to work in New Zealand.
