Assistant Store Manager

Job Description

We are looking for an Assistant Store Manager for our well settled Business in Wellington. Person who is self motivated, who can go few extra miles for the growth of the business.

General requirements for the role :

- With at least one year of appropriate Management experience in a similar industry that we strongly prefer

- A relevant tertiary qualification gained in business/management/retail

- A Licence Controller Qualification (LCQ) and a valid manager’s certificate is must

- Availability to work 7 days a week including public holidays

- Willingness to work in a rostered shift including late night shifts

Job Description and Duties

Prepare reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information;

Serve customers, customer service with high priority;

Follow up with jobs assigned by the Manager on day to day basis,

Display products in store; Prepare stock level reports on monthly basis and submit report to the Manager before updating them in the POS;

Evaluate competition by visiting competing stores; gathering information such as style, quality, and prices of competitive merchandise;

Promote sales by demonstrating merchandise and products to customers.

Maintains quality service by establishing and enforcing organization standards;

Maintains the stability and reputation of the store by complying with legal requirements;

Maintains a safe and clean store environment; determining and documenting locations of potentially dangerous materials and chemicals;

Comply with Sale of Liquor Act 2012 at all times.
