A small contracting family business are searching for full time orchard workers to join our team. We have our stone fruit thinning season in September to November and our stone fruit picking from November to mid December. Must be physically fit, must be able to carry a picking bag with weight, Must be able to use a ladder and have no problems with height and be happy to turn up to work and enjoy being outside. Looking for candidates with great work ethic, is reliable, have a can do attitude, willingness to learn and be trained and to work in a fun positive team environment. Previous experience is prefer but willing to train the right candidates that can do was is required above. Convictions will be considered case by case, and random drug testing applies.  

AGE: 20+

RATE: STARTING RATE $22.00 - $24.00 (depends on individual experience & duty)

LOCATION: Napier/Hastings

TRANSPORT: Must have own reliable transport 

ATTENDANCE EXPECTED: Monday- Friday 7:30am-5:00pm and Saturday 7:30am- 12:30pm

We offer full year work for the right candidates, the duties include: tree training, kiwifruit thinning, kiwifruit picking, irrigation, apple thinning, apple picking, winter pruning with our stone fruit, grapes, apple and kiwifruit.
