Role Overview

We are looking for people that are passionate about food, games and people to join our kitchen team. As a Prep Chef / Kitchen Assistant you’ll be responsible for supporting food preparation, health & safety, cleaning and general kitchen operations. The right person will have previous kitchen experience in a similar role with references.

Responsibilities:

- General food preparation and cooking

- Follow all food hygiene and kitchen health and safety regulations

- Assist with receiving and management of kitchen stock and equipment

- Cleaning and sterilising of all kitchen spaces, cookware, dishes and utensils

- Communicate kitchen needs to the Chef or Manager

Requirements & Skills:

- At least 2-3yrs experience working in a commercial kitchen

- Food certification, diploma or equivalent preferred

- Sound knowledge of food health and safety regulations

- The ability to stand for extended periods

- The ability to work in a fast-paced environment

- The ability to work in a team

- Excellent organisational and time management skills

- Effective communication skills
