Factory Food Manufacture Worker

Job Description

Kisco Foods International Ltd. is currently seeking for a reliable factory labourer to join the team in its Christchurch factory.

As the company manufactures high quality food products for export, exemplary attention to hygiene is essential, as is the ability to work in a multi-cultural organisation.

Working conditions can be cold in winter and hot in summer, so candidates must be comfortable working in this type of environment. Good physical fitness is required as applicants must be able to lift to 25kgs and the role is one where you are largely on your feet.

Experience in food manufacturing and basic numeracy and literacy skills would be advantageous. The successful candidate will be hard working and reliable with a friendly outgoing personality and a 'can do' attitude. A full drivers license and own reliable transport (due to early start time of 4am) are necessary. Successful candidates might be asked to pass a pre-employment drug test and Ministry of Justice check.

Typical hours of work is between 4am-1pm.
