Manee Thai Restaurant & Bar

We are looking for an experienced & hard working chef with a strong background in Thai Cuisine. The applicant must have at least 5 years experience working in a Thai kitchen and is able to cook authentic Thai food as dictated by the restaurant menu.They must also be responsible for day to day operations of the kitchen ensuring that tasks, procedures, and cleanliness is being kept to the restaurant standard.

Applicant must have ability to work under pressure. Prepare dine in and takeaways food.

Must be able to yield and wok under high pressure conditions

Must be able to cook to the standard dictated by the restaurant/owner

Must have a significant understanding of Thai food and taste.

Ensure regulations pertaining to health and safety relating to the kitchen are adhered to.

Ensure correct stock is always at hand of the eight quality and quantity.

Fruit and vegetable craving.

Ensure kitchen is kept clean and tidy.

Carry out any reasonable tasks relating to the operation of the kitchen.

Prepare entrees and desserts ensuring that the presentation is always excellent.

Demonstrate modern cooking techniques.

Have a positive attitude to do whatever it takes to get the job done.

Ready to make suggestions as to how the menu can be changed or improved
