Permanent full-time position. Hours and days of work may vary, so applicants must be reasonably flexible. You will be responsible for the management of daily operations of the cafe to provide satisfiable services to customers. The successful applicant will have an outgoing personality, relevant experience and knowledge in running a cafe effectively, be well presented and enjoy being kept busy in the cafe management works. We will consider candidates who have adequate training and experience and be able to work in a good teamwork environment to manage a busy workflow. However training will be provided to the right candidate without experience. JOB DESCRIPTION which shall include the following: Primary Responsibilities as Manager Responsible for managing the entire operation of the restaurant, ensuring and providing high quality service to customers, ensuring the quality of products and training and developing other staffs Operations: Key holder responsibilities including opening up and closing down and ensuring the store is secure at all times. Ensures and is accountable for profitability of the store by growing sales and controlling costs of goods, inventory levels, labor, supplies and expenses. Maintains and utilizes financial reporting tools Ensures proper team member coverage, scheduling according to the needs of business while maintaining target labor costs. Able to perform all POS duties, front and back of house functions including opening and closing procedures, coordinating with the head as necessary. Maintains proper loss prevention standards, reviewing cash handling procedures, deposits and safe procedures. Plans, executes and communicates all sales promotions and new product information effectively and efficiently. Identifies staffing, recruiting, interviewing, hiring, and training needs of qualified candidates. Facilitates on-going training and development of current staff. Promotes and practices safe work habits, identifying and resolving potential safety hazards, operational inconsistencies and any team member or customer incidents. Documents accidents conducts initial investigation and determination of root cause in the interest of maintaining a safe work environment. Conducts monthly safety meetings ensuring team member compliance in all safety initiatives planning menus in consultation with Chefs
