Job Description

: Troubleshooting faults on desktops, laptops, mobile phones, tablets and other equipment resolve network, software/hardware problems and provide chip-level repairInstalling, uninstalling and troubleshooting a wide range of software programs (including operating systems on iMac and Windows)Assembling and upgrading desktops/laptops repairing desktops/laptops which include LCD replacements, optical drives, HD replacements and other hardware parts (Network interface card, Graphics card, HDD, RAM, BIOS chip, PSU and motherboard etc)Dismantling desktops/laptops for data recovery and backup Maintain all company databases, including customer job sheets, ensure all tasks undertaken are procedurally correct, efficient and effective Perform any other duties as reasonably required by the business you must be honest, reliable and be available for work any day of the week (including any public holidays) as the shop is open daily, according to a flexible schedule to suit the business requirements. Working hours range from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm The successful candidate must have: Relevant tertiary Computing / IT qualification Excellent Technical understanding excellent Communication skills, both verbal and written Hands-on approach and a willingness to learnAbility to maintain shop premises to a high standard Applicants for this position should have NZ residency or a valid NZ work visa
