We are seeking applications from people with NZ Register Level 4 qualifications or at least two years relevant work experience.

You will be responsible for the installation of components for our superior passenger transport vehicles. Ideally you will have a proven work history in a similar position, and experience within a manufacturing environment.

Specific tasks include:

• Checking, testing wiring and parts in the bus using portable instruments.
• Finding faults using manufacturer’s circuit diagrams.
• Dismantling of electrical and electronic assemblies and components for the engineering department and assembly on modified chassis Installing electrical equipment and electronic components in the buses.
• Connecting power-operated vehicle equipment and accessories to power supply.
• Repair and replacement of electronic systems such as engine management systems, air conditioning systems, ABS brakes, electronically controlled gearboxes, instrument panels and vehicle computer.

• Be able to work unsupervised to exact and high standards.
