Who are we looking for?
We are looking for a highly motivated Team Leader to lead our team at our Concrete plant in Silverdale and deliver the good work Stevenson is known for.
This is an excellent opportunity for a strong leader to lead our concrete team based in Silverdale. As Team Leader, you will be responsible for a number of responsibilities including:
-Effectively managing all aspects of the site, including full Health & Safety compliance, Environmental compliance & Quality Assurance
-Delegating work to staff to successful stay compliant in all areas
-Relief pressure by managing high peak production time during the day effectively
-Managing staff hours Effectively managing stock and available products
-Managing waste effectively Assisting with ticketing trucks for sites as schedule requires
-Ensuring targets are met and proper communication with Customer service team is established daily
-Planning critical pours and priorities as required
Experience and attributes;
The successful candidate will be a born leader, with the drive and passion to help their team deliver their targets. Other essential skills and experience include:
-Senior certificate or equivalent
-National Concrete Production Level 3 qualification
-Health & Safety for representatives certificate
-Minimum 4 years’ experience managing staff and equipment effectively
-Forklift & front end loader licenses preferred
-Basic computer skills (word, outlook & excel)
-Familiar with the basics of concrete technology
-Excellent written and verbal communication skills
-An unwavering commitment towards living safety with a safety record to match.
