Who are we looking for?
Due to Fulton Hogan’s ongoing growth within the Region, we are looking for two Heavy Diesel Mechanics to join our team and deliver the good work Fulton Hogan is known for.
An opportunity based in our Wellington region workshop has arisen for an experienced Heavy Diesel Mechanic to service, repair and maintain a wide range of vehicles and specialist equipment including trucks, utes, excavators, rollers, millers, small engines and pavers.
Experience and attributes;
A minimum of trade certificate (or equivalent) in heavy diesel
Broad knowledge base of plant and machinery
A minimum of a full class 2 license
Great attitude and willingness to learn new skills
Ability to work in a team environment
A strong focus on Safety and Quality
Flexibility to work weekends, on call and overtime
Furthermore, you will be customer orientated, a team player, and also have the ability to work independently. Your sense of humour and ability to relate well to people means you'll fit right in.
This is a full time, permanent position with guaranteed 40 hours each week. Fulton Hogan offer training and development towards your career as well as medical insurance (after a qualifying period).
