Call Centre Representative

Job Description

A communications company providing call centre solutions for a reputed and leading taxi company in Christchurch, is looking for individuals with a strong customer focus to be an inbound call taker with long term commitment. You will be taking calls and dispatch jobs as required, with the luxury of working from the comfort of your home. We welcome applicants from all walks of life who can provide a high level of customer service to our clients. The positions are based in Christchurch but are not limited to the city boundaries. You will encounter a wide range of calls from different people - no two days will be the same. A good local knowledge of the city and its surrounds if preferable, however full training will be provided. Essential criteria for this role: • Strong call centre experience preferable • Strong and proven customer service background • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English • Ability to work autonomously • Ability to multitask in a Windows operating environment • Willing to work on rostered shifts 24/7 • You should be eligible to work in New Zealand • Access to a suitable and stable internet connection The recruitment process is: 1. Initial assessment through a phone interview - a Talent Sourcing Advisor or someone from the team will give you a call to assess your suitability based on the above 'must haves'. 2. You will then be asked to attend an interview on a set date 3. Those further shortlisted will be invited to attend a 1-hour information session. Thorough training will be provided to the successful applicants with the skills and knowledge to undertake all aspects of this key role, including area knowledge of Christchurch, prioritising calls, giving telephone advice on driver queries, and using the computerised/web based TelOp system.
