We are seeking a skilled chef to join an existing, experienced kitchen team. This position will include working in all areas of the kitchen and requires a self-motivated individual with a passion for the industry. Tasks/Responsibilities –Chef • Responsible for preparing and cooking dishes as per the business requirements • Required to plan and develop new menu • In charge of running the Kitchen operations and oversee the kitchen team • Maintain a high standard of food, quality control and check Staffing, scheduling and training in the kitchen • Ensure the food storage, preparation and service of foods meet the temperature guideline • Able to work well and multi-task in a high-pressure environment • Monitoring and intending of store, issues and return • Ensure the hygiene regulations and explain to the staff • Able to follow the instructions of food control plan book from city council • Prepares costing sheets and estimate produce requirements & consumption's • Required Experience, Skills and Qualifications • Candidate must have qualification relating to cookery. • You must have at least 2 years of cooking experience in a busy environment and knowledge of American, Indian fusion food. • Must know to make Kerala POROTTA and other south Indian dishes authentic includes Kerala vegetarian and non vegetarian Curries. * Must have the knowledge about the north indian dishes * Must have the knowledge about Italian dishes * Must have the knowledge about the Burgers and Toasted Sandwiches * Must have the knowledge about the Grilled Dishes * Must have the knowledge about the Arabic and South African food * Must have the ability to implement the varieties of fusion dishes • Be experienced in taking full control of the kitchen
