Since 1939 we have been manufacturing mattress and base sets in New Zealand - distributing these to the public, as well as our wholesale and commercial customers directly and via our six factory outlets across New Zealand. We are also proud to be now distributing the UK based luxury Hypnos bed range. Our range of bedding and bedroom furniture is top quality and competitively priced.
Our Invercargill store is a well-established, busy branch which operates seven days per week. This is a great opportunity for someone who is proactive, hands on, is keen to learn about the business and understands the importance of driving sales through customer service.
Answering to the Christchurch based Managing Director, you will lead and inspire a small team of full and part time staff members. Your can-do, customer-centric and sales-focused approach will pave the way to the success of your team and the branch, ensuring Brownies remains the top choice for those wishing to purchase bed sets and bedroom furniture in Invercargill.
While product and industry knowledge would be an advantage, strong sales and natural leadership skills are the competencies we’re looking for. Your solid business acumen and organisational skills will ensure the smooth running of this branch. In return, Brownies will offer you a good salary or hourly rate and uncapped monthly incentives. Saturday and Sunday are typically our busiest days, so weekend work is required.
