Seeking a customer-focused, hands-on sales professional with solid admin skills to join our small, friendly team.

• Full-time across 5 days, including one weekend day

At Brownies, we pride ourselves in cutting out the middleman. Since 1939 we have been manufacturing mattress and base sets in New Zealand - distributing these to the public, as well as our wholesale and commercial customers directly and via our six factory outlets across New Zealand. We are also proud to be now distributing the UK based luxury Hypnos bed range. Our range of bedding and bedroom furniture is top quality and competitively priced.

Based in Thorndon Quay, our Wellington outlet store is well-established, operating seven days per week. This is a great opportunity for someone who is proactive, hands-on, is keen to learn about the business and understands the importance of driving sales through great customer service.

Answering to the Branch Manager, your can-do, customer-centric and sales-focused approach will support the ongoing high performance of this outlet, ensuring Brownies remains the top choice for those wishing to purchase bed sets and bedroom furniture in Wellington.

About you:

• Strong sales, organisation and administration skills are what we’re looking for.

• Retail experience is not required, so if you have succeeded in your customer facing role in the past, we would be keen to speak with you.

We will offer you:

• A good hourly rate: $24 - $26 per hour, a free car park and uncapped monthly commission.

• Full training, friendly team culture.
