We are looking for someone to join our team in a junior sous chef role. The right person must have a passion for cooking, be a keen team player, have a reliable history in the kitchen and a great attitude. They must also have the following:
a) At least 2 years cooking in the UK or Europe, in a reputable restaurant and in at least a chef de partie role.
b) Have at least 5 years experience in the kitchen, 3 of which must be at least at a chef de partie level and some time in a junior sous chef role.
c) Have experience managing service and a kitchen team in a high quality restaurant serving 100+ meals per night.
d) Have a sound understanding of food costing
e) Have a passion for food and for cooking as well as a passion to teach those around them
f) Experience planning menus
g) A strong understanding of hygiene practices
