Bold flavours café and Restaurant is looking for 2applicants to work in our busy Restaurant as cook. we are looking for cook for kitchen team. we require minimum of 1 year experience. if you have worked in kitchen and have basic understanding of food and equipment then we welcome to our team. No qualification is required in house training will be provided and basic food control plan training will be provided at the job to meet the New Zealand food act.

Key task for the job

Set up the kitchen with cooking utensils and equipment, like knives, pans and kitchen scales

Monitor food stock and place orders

Check freshness of food and discard out-of-date items

Experiment with recipes and suggest new ingredients

Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations within the kitchen area

Requirement and skills

Proven work experience as a Cook

Experience in using cutting tools, cookware and bake ware

Ability to  follow all sanitation procedure

Ability to work as a team

Very good communication skill

Excellent physical condition and stamina

High school diploma or equivalent: Diploma from a culinary school will e an advantage
