The role is to assist the Store Manager in products sales related activities comprising of counter sales, inventory management and generate statistical reports for ensuring correct stock levels are maintained in our intention to increase sales and profitability as per the budgeted targets through excellent customer satisfaction.
Control stocktaking and manage purchasing by appointing and negotiating with suppliers.
Manage promotions and advertise to maximise the sales.
Ensure merchandising and presentation of the store is of the highest quality.
Ensure that the premises is always kept in neat and presentable manner.
Control the store prices
Control the out of stock product
Regular stocktake and maintain records
Reconciliation on daily basis and maintain financial record
Attend phone calls and try to resolve any doubts that client have
Resolve the customer complaints and issues
Ensure adherence to all safe work practices in store
Ensure customer are acknowledged promptly to minimise shoplifting
Ensure compliance with applicable liquor laws
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
Ensure customer service and store standards are maintained all the times
Ensure the business runs smoothly
Manage cash register and be meticulous is cash handling and service customers
Ensure the ready availability of stock
Any task reasonably required to complete the jobs successfully

QUALIFICATION: Any tertiary qualification
