Turn up to shift on time, presentable and ready to go. Bring your creativity, reliability and willing vibes. Ensure safety and spick-and-span practices in the kitchen; clean as you go. Review each recipe and gather all necessary ingredients. Good, calm, clear communication with FOH – ETA on timing etc. Work as a team BOH & FOH. Ensure gorgeous plate presentation; attention to detail and freshness (rustic and real). Transform recipes to meet customers’ needs and requests (e.g. reduced salt, dairy free, GF, vegan, etc.). Bring your zinging ideas to collaborate on new menu items during non-service times; ask management for a meeting to review items or to talk privately. Monitor stock inventory and note what needs ordering. Check freshness of food and discard out-of-date items; assist in keeping food plan up to date. Ensure you are following compliance with all health and safety regulations within the kitchen area. Wash dishes like a boss. *Dishwasher is on the way Maintain high level of personal hygiene and a professional appearance. Inject your passion and personality into your food! Update your knowledge base by participating in educational opportunities and maintaining personal networks. All certificates of training completed during employment will be held on file. Remember why you do what you do and share the vibes! Keep it professional at all times; Under no circumstance should any loud voices, arguing or profanity take place in the kitchen or dining rooms. Be willing to evolve and take onboard new concepts as Level one evolves as a business and a brand.
